Aaron Taylor-Johnson is really leaning into this whole Kraven the ...
Aaron Taylor-Johnson is Kraven the Hunter, and it's finally hitting cinemas tomorrow. And yes, a lot of Marvelheads are very excited. But menswearheads are getting excited too, because there have been a slew of solid fits on the press trail.
From leather trucker jackets to £4,000 bombers, ATJ's been a pro on the Kraven the Hunter tour. And on the day before the movie goes public, he saved the best till last. Because not only can he act like the comic book bad guy, he can dress like him, too.

In New York City, Taylor-Johnson was spotted outside the Good Morning America studios in one of his rowdiest looks to date. Starting from the very top, he wore an auburn jumper that was zipped halfway down just to show off the perfect amount of chest. He then layered this with a big suede coat, and he threw on some matching trousers just to really tie it together. The 34-year-old actor then finished it all off with a pair of Chelsea boots. Just like 28 Years Later co-star Cillian Murphy's go-to pair, these had a heel around the back for a bit of extra oomph.
It was promotion without being promotion. If you know anything about Kraven, you'd know that brown, earthy tones have always been his thing, and he makes clothing out of his biggest hunts. Ever since he first appeared on the The Amazing Spider-Man #15 in '64, he's never seen without his big fur coat. That's the kinda energy that the Nosferatu star's got going here. And just to really drive it all home, he's also got a faux snakeskin belt on.
And it's a continuation of the themed red carpets that have been trending in Hollywood over the past few years. Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling went hard with it on the Barbie press tour. Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya doubled-down with Dune. And speaking of Chalamet, he recently pulled up to a screening of A Complete Unknown in a pair of Red Wing boots, which just so happens to be one of Bob Dylan's fave footwear brands.
For Aaron Taylor-Johnson, it's not so much cosplay as it is an homage. Plus, it's another big fit to add to the books.
