Adam Clayton and his wife Mariana were married for 10 years

U2 bassist Adam Clayton and his wife have announced their divorce after ten years of marriage.

Rockstar Adam Clayton and his lawyer wife Mariana have released a brief statement saying they have "amicably divorced" and are on good terms.

The couple was previously wed at the Dublin registry office. A few days later they celebrated their marriage with 150 family and friends — including U2 bandmates Bono, The Edge and Larry in the South of France.

The couple have one daughter together who was born in 2017.
