It’s All-Ireland final day and in just a few hours, Cork and Clare will face off for the ultimate prize: the Liam McCarthy trophy.
Thrilling semi-finals went against perceived wisdom with the Rebel county overcoming Galway to secure a shot at their first All-Ireland since 2005.
It hasn’t been as long for Clare who last won the championship in 2013 - beating today’s opponents - and for their part they toppled Leinster champions Kilkenny in the semis.
There’s also added interest in the game which will be shown across the BBC network - meaning not just in the north - so it will be a real showpiece for the sport with the potential for millions to tune in across the UK.
