Andrew Garfield and Amelia Dimoldenberg's Chemistry Is Off the Charts in Chicken Shop Date
Andrew Garfield and Amelia Dimoldenberg are giving their love a fry.
The Spider-Man actor—whose relationship with Dr. Kate Thomas recently ended—and the Chicken Shop Date host sent viewers swooning as the pair finally sat down for the Oct. 18 episode of her YouTube series, beginning with Amelia jokingly warning Andrew, “Don't, like, bring out a ring or get down on one knee, I'm not in the mood—today."
However, the Social Network alum outright confirmed he brought his A-game along to the date when playing "Snog, Marry or Avoid."
"Tom Holland, Tobey Maguire," Amelia tells him of his choices, "Amelia Dimoldenberg."
And after a hearty laugh, Andrew simply replies, "This is really unfair, you're turning the screws loose on me. God, that's hard, I don't want to avoid any of you really."
But after deciding he would have to avoid Amelia, to which she expresses utter shock, he says, "This is called flirting Amelia." He then follows that up with, "This is actually a first date."
But that's not all as later on Andrew outright asks Amelia if she thinks they would have crossed paths and dated eventually outside of their award show run-ins. As for what he had to truly say about it?
"I actually believe, maybe, we could've," he tells Amelia, "without all of this."
The long-awaited episode of the interview “dating” series—which has previously featured megastars including Jennifer Lawrence, Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Cher, SZA and Paul Mescal—couldn’t have come soon enough for fans who buzzed over the viral exchange Andrew and Amelia had at the Golden Globes in January 2023 where the two giggled and messed with each other.
Amelia teased Andrew on the red carpet, “You’re the one that’s obsessed with me.”
“That’s what I’m saying,” Andrew flirted back. “I’m scared of what it could turn into. I’m not ready for it.”
And in the nearly two years since their first encounter—which included the pair smiling and repeating, “Hey, you’re great,” back and forth multiple times—Amelia has reiterated the same feelings she felt when meeting the We Live In Time star.

But Andrew isn’t the only one that Amelia has sparked a connection with on her decade-long series, mentioning Billie Eilish as one of her most successful dates.
“Oh my goodness, she is just incredible,” Amelia continued. “I was honestly so star-struck when she came into the chicken shop. And she’s fantastic at flirting. Her eyes, those ocean eyes. Amazing.”
