Angela performed the jive tonight

The RTE presenter is paired up with Carlos Gu and she performed the jive to “Trouble” by Shampoo.

Speaking about last week's performance she said: "I was so unexpectedly nervous but I loved it."

However, she shook off those nerves tonight as she twirled around on the dancefloor with Carlos and she was sporting a black and red outfit.

After the dance Angela was out of breath but thrilled with her performance.

"They're just incredible the swivvels were beautiful... it was just tremendous."

Angela received glowing reviews from the rest of the judges as well and got a total of 29 points.

The judges weren't the only ones who were impressed with the dance as viewers flocked to X to share their thoughts on her performance.

Courtney commented saying: "Angela and Carlos are so good they are quickly becoming one of my favourite couples."

One viewer said: "Angela S severely undermarked."

DRAWN LINE

Angela said she's loving the glitz and glamour of the dancing show but has drawn the line at one Strictly staple – a fake tan.

While the spray-on glow is a must for most of the BBC dance competition’s celebs and their pro partners, Angela is refusing to mask her naturally pale skin.

And the Irish TV host is out to prove that nobody needs to be tango’d to turn up the sex appeal.

Flame-haired Angela — whose specialist subject on Michael McIntyre game show The Wheel was “redheads” — said: “Fake tan can work for redheads.

"I used to wear it and I know lots of redheads who do wear it who feel really uncomfortable with their pale skin — but I don’t.

“I’ve spent 15 years getting to grips with the fact I have pale skin.

“You don’t need to fake tan to feel confident. I want to show that, for me, feeling sexy comes from being myself, not how orange my legs are.”

When Angela, 39, was announced as part of the 2023 Strictly line-up she posted a snap of her legs to Instagram and asked fans: “To tan or not to tan, that is the question?”

The response was a resounding no, with fellow paler skin celebs — including Girls Aloud’s Nicola Roberts — chiming in.
