Anthony Joshua has told the future Mrs. Joshua that she would be marrying into his whole family.
Former heavyweight world champion Joshua, 34, is still single despite his sporting fame and a fortune in the tens of millions. And he has told any future girlfriends that he come as part of a package deal. "I still live with my mum. In our culture, we grew up in our own family home, we support our parents," he told BBC interviewer Louis Theroux.
"Why am I going to move out and leave my mum by herself, for some girl? Family is the most important thing. When a girl gets with me, she ain't just marrying me, she's marrying my family." Joshua has kept his private life out of the headlines but does have an eight-year-old son JJ with former partner Nicole Osbourne.

And in explaining why he tries to stay off the gossip pages, Joshua added: "Are we going to dissect everything I say and use it as a narrative to create a story? That's why I keep myself to myself. You put all this pressure on yourself to come and be this big star and be perfect. I'm telling you, they'll pull you down. The higher you are, the bigger the drop."
Joshua, who retains hopes of becoming a three-time world champion, has previously said he wants a big family. Appearing on the Jonathan Ross show in 2021, he said: “I want to have loads [of children].
"Someone said to me, which makes sense, when you’re young, you don’t want to have kids, but when you’re older and settled down and retired you wish that you had more kids around you, so I’m just looking ahead – loads for me is probably another six."
Joshua is unlikely to fight again this year but remains determined to take on Deontay Wilder next year. The fight, between two former world champions, had been pencilled in to take place in Saudi Arabia but is now more likely to land in Las Vegas.
