A first time candidate for Offaly in the general election says her 'community has been let down by the government for decades'

Maureen Ward, a Traveller human rights activist and youth worker from Tullamore has been chosen by Aontú to run in the county.

She says the party's motto of holding themselves accountable in Government aligned strongly with her own values  - with homelessness and healthcare key issues on her manifesto.
