Selena Gomez Has Signed Off 'Apple Cider Nails' As Autumn's ...

Autumn's biggest nail trend? Beverage-inspired nails. Don't believe me? Just ask Selena Gomez.

The Only Murders in the Building star, whose mother Mandy Teefey was just named a GLAMOUR Women of the Year honouree, debuted delicious apple cider nails just in time for spooky season. Created by her go-to nail artist Tom Bachik, whose clients also include Jennifer Lopez and Camila Cabello, Selena's autumn-friendly mani came just days after Heidi Klum showed off her own take on drink-inspired looks with vanilla chai nails. See? We're sensing a theme here.

While both looks are inspired by autumnal aesthetics, Selena's is a much more dark feminine energy-inspired take on the trend. Selena's mani, which Tom posted to his Instagram, is a deep shade of chrome red, falling somewhere between burgundy and plum.

Feeling inspired? Honestly, same. Here's what you need to know to get the look: In the past, Tom has used Essie’s Licorice for a similar deep plum style. We also know that the celebrity manicurist always preps his clients cuticles and nails with Tweezerman x Tom Bachik Ultimate Nail Care Set.

While we don't know exactly which polish Tom and Selena Gomez used to create this apple cider-inspired look, you can DIY the apple cider manicure with tons of similar options.

Our favourite picks include Essie's Berry Naughty or OPI's Malaga Wine. For a slightly more dark feminine vibe, opt for Essie's Wicked and CND's Dark Dahlia.

Once you've picked your base shade, follow up with a chrome top coat like Essie Nail Art Special Effects Top Coat in Cosmic Chrome, and you're good to go apple picking — or apple cider tasting — and match your mani accordingly. It's exactly the kind of co-ordination we love.
