The PSNI have confirmed they are investigating an alleged incident believed to have taken place on All-Ireland champions Armagh’s recent team holiday in Miami.
A report was made to the PSNI in the wake of the incident and they are currently looking into it.

Team holidays for All-Ireland finalists are part funded by the GAA. To make up the shortfall in Armagh the rest of the money for the trip was raised by clubs and fans with plenty of goodwill towards the team in the wake of the county’s All-Ireland victory back in late July.
Pre-covid the figure the GAA contributed to team holidays for All-Ireland finalists was €80,000 per county, with the figure believed to have risen since then.
Armagh GAA asked each club to raise at least £2000stg to go towards the luxury holiday on Miami Beach, which is believed to have cost in the region of £3000stg per person.
News of the alleged incident will have left clubs and fans dismayed, and has cast a shadow over the team’s achievements as they look towards 2025.
A PSNI statement to Belfast Live read: “A report was made to the Police Service of Northern Ireland regarding an incident which is believed to have occurred in the United States in November.
“Enquiries are currently being carried out and no further details are available at present.”
Belfast Live contacted Ulster GAA for a comment on reports that they were looking into the alleged incident.
Armagh GAA are also raising funds for a new stg£10 million Centre of Excellence for their teams with a fundraising auction in New York over the weekend, while their club All Stars also took place at the Canal Court Hotel last Saturday night.
Kieran McGeeney’s side begin their 2025 campaign on January 25 with a trip to face Galway in a repeat of this year’s All-Ireland final.
