Armagh v Roscommon

Armagh and Roscommon clash in the first of this weekend's All-Ireland Senior Football Championship quarter-finals at Croke Park.

The Orchard County last reached the All-Ireland semi-finals back when their manager Kieran McGeeney was their captain in 2005.

They come into the last eight, once again, as group winners, pipping Galway in Group One thanks to a late Stefan Campbell equaliser in Markievicz Park.

While Armagh would have been expected to reach the last eight, Roscommon were on the ropes after a hat-trick of Championship defeats to Mayo (twice) and Dublin.

However, they kick-started their campaign with a 3-20 to 1-20 win over Cavan before causing one of the biggest upsets of the season with a deserved two-point win over Tyrone in Omagh last weekend.

If Davy Burke’s men can replicate that performance, this clash might just be the most keenly-contested of the four games at Croke Park over the next two days.

Here are the teams:

Armagh: Blaine Hughes; Paddy Burns, Aaron McKay, Peter McGrane; Barry McCambridge, Tiernan Kelly, Aidan Forker; Niall Grimley, Ben Crealey; Oisin Conaty, Rian O'Neill, Joe McElroy; Rory Grugan, Andrew Murnin, Conor Turbitt.

Subs: Ethan Rafferty, Connaire Mackin, Jason Duffy, Greg McCabe, Aidan Nugent, Oisin O'Neill, Stefan Campbell, Shane McPartlan, Ross McQuillan, Jarly Óg Burns, Darragh McMullan.
