Bambie came out on air wearing a jaw-dropping black leather plunging gown with huge pointed shoulder pads.

The 31-year-old then sat down with Patrick Kiekty to talk about their upcoming Crown The Witch Irish tour, which kicks off in Dublin's Academy this Sunday October 27.

The singer achieved Ireland's best Eurovision result since 1997, finishing in sixth place in Malmo, Sweden, this year.

Speaking about the whirlwind year they had, Bambie said: "[It's been] non-stop. I'm very grateful - I need a nap, but so grateful to be so busy.

"We did 43 days on the road, 26 shows, 19 countries, lots of festivals, lots of big milestones this year, which has been incredible.

"I can't believe it's only been nine months since I was here for the Eurovision. That's amazing. It's crazy."

Bambie explained why they love Halloween so much saying: "It's the only time of year that I don't get commented on looking like this. People think it's normal.

"So that's amazing. This year I'm actually doing my headline show in the Academy, a Halloween show here.

"So I'm very excited to spend that with my coven and my fans and give them a real treat. But I'm really, really happy to be back in Ireland, where Halloween originates from, as we all know.

"Ireland always has much more magical energy to me anyway, feeling, because I live in London most of the time.

Bambie Thug bares all on stage

"So I come back and I get this wave of beautiful energy just from even the air at the airport in Dublin. I'm like, smells different."

RTE viewers all loved Bambie's performance and flocked to X to share their praise.

Alex wrote: "The full circle moment of having Bambie Thug back on the Late Late Show Halloween special off the back of a European tour - absolute legend."

Shauna said: "Love this woman."

One viewer tweeted: "G'wan Bambie Thug."

'DEADLY'

Helen commented: "Great performance and visuals."

Another fan added: "This is very catchy and they look deadly."

Patrick and Bambie were also joined by Father Ted star Ardal O'Hanlon, who told the pair of his "very spooky experience".

Ardal and his wife Melanie have three adult children together, Emily and Rebecca, and Red.

Speaking to Bambie, he said: "Maybe you can explain this actually, because no one has ever explained this to me.

SPOOKY EXPERIENCE

"When my first daughter was about a year and a half old, we were in bed one Saturday morning, quite early.

"Myself, my wife Melanie and my daughter in between us. And the doorbell rang. And it was very unusual for the doorbell to ring at half seven on a Saturday morning.

"And my wife's like, 'Who would that be now at this hour?'.

"And at which point, my daughter, who has never completed a full sentence at this stage, pipes up and says, 'It's a lady with a pram'."

The comedian explained how himself and his wife "leaped out of bed" and ran to the front of the house to open the curtains and see who it was, only to see that their child was right.

He said: "And, yes, indeed, it was a lady with a pram looking up at the window.

"And to this day, utterly baffled by that. No one has ever been able to explain it."

Bambie added: "I think kids see things that we don't. And I think they're just more in tune. I think they're more in tune."
