King Charles' former butler a contestant on Big Brother 2024

The eagerly awaited Big Brother returned to ITV on Sunday with a whole set of new housemates.

Among the 16 strangers taking part in the social experiment that will last six weeks, was King Charles' former butler, an amputee footballer and a lesbian psychologist.

Hosts AJ Odudu, 36, and Will Best, 39, were also on our screens, despite rumours that the pair would miss the live launch after it was revealed they were both suffering from respective illnesses.

Who are this year's housemates? Nathan

Nathan is a 24-year-old who hails from Dumfries, he is currently working as a pork salesman but claims he was previously a former butler to King Charles.

Rosie

Rosie is a 29-year-old dental assistant who hails from Cornwall.

Emma

Emma is a 53-year-old aesthetics business owner from Altrincham.

Segun

Segun is a 25-year-old charity videographer from Watford.

Daze

Daze is a 24-year-old climate activist who hails from London.

Khaled is a 23-year-old sales manager from Manchester,

Martha is a 26-year-old NHS Administrator from Scarborough, originally from Margate.

Lily

Lily is a 20-year-old chinese takeaway server from Warrington.

Ali

Ali is a 38-year-old forensic psychologist from London, originally from Leicester.

Thomas

Thomas is a 20-year-old amputee footballer who hails from Carlisle.

Ryan

Ryan is a 28-year-old who works in Marketing and Events from Stockport, originally from Blackpool.

Hanah

Hanah is a 24-year-old HR consultant from West London.

Izaaz

Izaaz is a 29-year-old sales consultant from London, originally Swansea.
