Blue Ivy Performs With Mom Beyoncé During Renaissance Show
Beyoncé brought out a very special guest during her Renaissance World Tour performance on Friday night — her mini-me, Blue Ivy.
The superstar singer's oldest child, 11, made her way to the stage to join her mom as she performed for a crowd in Paris, France on Friday. Wearing an all-metallic outfit to match Queen Bey and her dancers, Blue was introduced and immediately started dancing along to the choreography.
As Beyoncé was singing her song, “Power,” she shouted the lyrics “This my bloodline” as Blue came onto the stage. “Give it up for Blue, y'all,” Beyoncé said.
The crowd went wild as Blue performed the dance moves in front of thousands of people, including her dad Jay-Z and grandma Tina Knowles-Lawson. Blue is the older sister to twins Sir and Rumi, 5.
Knowles-Lawson, who is Beyoncé's mom, posted on Instagram how proud she was of Blue for her performance, calling her “the coolest most confident 11 year old I know.”
“I am truly amazed by the courage that this brave, talented, beautiful [11-year-old] exhibited last night," Knowles-Lawson wrote. “She danced with professional dancers, grown folks, she did complicated choreography and moves that they rehearsed for months ! She rehearsed and learned this in a little over a week.”
