It’s the second stop of the FedEx Cup Playoffs and the tour is at Castle Pines Golf Club for the BMW Championship. This is the first time in 10 years that the PGA Tour has returned to Colorado, where the course sits more than 6,200 yards above sea level and is stretched out to over 8,100 yards. That is not a typo.

The top 50 in the FedEx Cup standings are in the field, which will be culled down to 30 for the finale next week at East Lake in Atlanta. This week they’ll be playing for a $20 million purse with the winner taking home $3.6 million for a victory.

But first, a reminder that Hideki Matsuyama won the first playoff event last week at the FedEx St. Jude Championship in steamy Tennessee. He coughed up a big lead late on Sunday but held on with birdies on the last two holes to top Xander Schauffele and Victor Hovland by two shots. Hovland, by the way, is the defending BMW champion although last year’s event was played at Olympia Fields outside Chicago.

Scottie Scheffler still tops the standings, with Schauffele and Matsuyama behind him. Si Woo Kim, Collin Morikawa, Rory McIlroy, Wyndham Clark, Chris Kir, Ludvig Aberg and Cameron Young round out the top 10.

On the other end are Nick Dunlap, Cam Davis and Keegan Bradley, who are Nos. 48-50 and need to play well or their seasons will end at Castle Pines. Sepp Straka is No. 30 and Jason Day is 31st to start the week.

Here’s the prize money breakdown for each player this week in Colorado. Check back here shortly after play is complete on Sunday for updates.
