While Callum Turner himself has earned massive respect in the industry as one of the most brilliant actors of all time, that doesn’t stop him from gushing on and on about his peers. In fact, if anything, he doesn’t hold back while letting the world know how much he admires and appreciates some of his peers. Like Robert Pattinson, for example.
Callum Turner in Masters of the Air (2024)Not only does The Batman star rank incredibly high when it comes to commendation in the eyes of Turner, but Pattinson has also earned unparalleled faith from him for a reason that is all too understandable.

Robert Pattinson has one too many admirers, thanks to his spectacular performances on the screens, and that list has further added a name to it: Callum Turner.
Although the pair have never worked together, Turner is still all praise for his peer and one of Hollywood’s beloved actors. So much so that that praise has transformed into unparalleled faith in him as well.
During a recent interview with The Independent where he talked about his recent superhit sports drama, The Boys in the Boat, and his soon-to-be-released drama series Masters of the Air, the actor also let out how much he admired The Batman star. He said:
“[Robert Pattinson] can finance a whole movie just by being in it, which is ultimately the goal,” said Turner.
Well, that is most certainly true, considering how almost every single movie that has starred Robert Pattinson in it to date never ceased to perform epically — both among the audience and at the box office!

Another Person Callum Turner Greatly Admires: Jeff Bridges Callum Turner and Jeff Bridges in The Only Living Boy in New York (2017)Continuing in the interview, Callum Turner also talked about yet another celebrity — though this time, it was someone he has worked with — who compelled him to admire him simply by his personality: Jeff Bridges.
For a duo that collaborated to work on the 2017 romance drama The Only Living Boy in New York, not only did they have a “wonderful time together” but Bridges even taught Turner an important lesson when the movie failed to amuse the critics.
As Turner shared:
“He [Jeff Bridges] said to me, ‘Sometimes you do a movie, you meet people, try to have a nice time, try to do good work and then maybe make a friend – like me and you – and then if the movie comes out a year later and it’s good, bonus. If not, that’s OK.’”
As amazing an actor as Jeff Bridges is, he ended up saying the exact same words to his co-star that he needed to hear at the time, putting Turner’s “mind at ease,” and increasing his respect for Bridges.
“Jeff put my mind at ease. It was this big American movie [The Only Living Boy in New York], and we were all disappointed, but it was my experience with him that made it OK,” he said.
Well, the movie The Only Living Boy in New York may have failed to fare nicely among the critics, but at least it taught an important lesson to Callum Turner (that he most probably would never forget!).
