Coronation Street star Calum Lill has paid tribute to his real-life partner amid his character Joel Deering's big storyline.
The actor took to Instagram on Saturday (September 28) to post some of his "favourite" pictures of himself and fiancée Roberta Mcclarron, which included one of the pair posing outside the Rovers Return. The couple got engaged back in June.
"Ah my partner in crime. For the last year I've been totally focused on my career which has meant you have come second and I've hardly seen you," the post's caption read.

"Some people might have gotten upset or pissed off at this, but you have done nothing but support me in chasing my dream. On top of your own job, you've looked after our home.
"You've done pretty much all of the cooking and cleaning, all my washing, the pots, the decorating, and you've taken it in your stride and never grumbled even on the many days when I was gone before you woke up and got into bed after you were asleep."
Lill concluded: "You did this because you knew it's what I needed and you supported me completely. I'm so grateful to have you in my life and that you agreed to marry me. Thanks for being amazing."

Coronation Street is set to air an unexpected ending in Joel Deering's storyline next week. DS Swain will announce the villain's death after unearthing some troubling evidence, although Joel's ex-fiancée Dee-Dee Bailey worries that everything is not as it seems.
On Friday (September 27), Joel failed to show up to his plea hearing, with the judge subsequently issuing a warrant for his arrest.
Meanwhile, a visibly drunk Joel locked himself into Roy's Rolls, where he expressed his "guilt" to café owner Roy Cropper – who was wrongly imprisoned for killing Lauren Bolton. It soon became clear that Joel was pretending to be drunk.
Later, he recorded a message for Dee-Dee, telling her that he still loves her, before the camera revealed a large wound on his face. What is Joel planning?
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
