Liverpool boss Arne Slot made four changes to his starting team as the Reds tok on Crystal Palace. Caoimhin Kelleher and Federico Chiesa are both missing from the matchday squad.
The Irish goalkeeper is missing due to illness, meaning Viteszlav Jaros came in on the bench. Chiesa, meanwhile, missed some training sessions this week and was therefore a doubt to be involved. The Italian winger hasn't made it back in time but could now recover during the international break, with his issue not thought to be serious.
The confirmed Liverpool team at Selhurst Park included Curtis Jones, making his first start in the league this season. Kostas Tsimikas came in at left-back, Cody Gakpo replaced Luis Diaz on the left flank, and Diogo Jota started through the center of the pitch with Darwin Nunez on the bench.

The 26-year-old, signed from Juventus this summer, missed the Champions League clash with Bologna midweek.
"[It's] wait and see. He didn't train for the last two days," the Reds head coach said. "He came in today to see if he could train and if he can I still have a decision to make because we can only select 20 [players] and he hasn't trained for a few days. But first of all, we have to wait and see if he can even train — and if he can then it's our decision if we bring him to the game or not."
Liverpool confirmed its position at the top of the Premier League standings throughout the international break by beating Crystal Palace. Since Slot arrived at Anfield, he has won nine of his first 10 matches in charge.
