Gary Neville heaped praise on Caoimhin Kelleher as the Liverpool goalkeeper pulled off a great save to deny Kevin De Bruyne a goal following a Virgil van Dijk mistake.
Liverpool moved nine points clear at the top of the Premier League after a potentially season-defining 2-0 victory over a Manchester City side in disarray on Sunday.
Cody Gakpo’s 12th-minute strike was all the hosts had for an opening barrage and it needed Mohamed Salah’s late penalty – the sixth successive league match in which he has scored and his sixth goal in eight appearances against City – to secure the points.

Kelleher didn't have much to do, but when he was called upon he delivered, with Neville, who was commentating on the game, praising the Cork native as the Kop chanted 'Ireland's number one'.
"That shouldn't go unnoticed at the end of the game, that Kelleher save," he said.
"He knows how close, I'm sure that'll be doubled up at the end in the changing room. He's just saved his captain some real embarrassment and his club a nervous last 10 minutes."
The save came just days after Kelleher stopped a Kylian Mbappe penalty as Liverpool defeated Real Madrid 2-0 in the Champions League.
