Carol Vorderman has recalled an awkward blunder she suffered while working out in the nude.
The 63-year-old broadcaster was back on television screens on Christmas Day as she was exposed as Reindeer on The Masked Singer Christmas special. She came second place after losing out to chef Ainsley Harriott who was disguised as Partridge (In A Pear Tree).
After being forced to take her mask off, Carol spoke to celebrity detectives Mo Gilligan, Rita Ora, Davina McCall and Jonathan Ross about an accident she suffered while running naked on a treadmill.

She said: "I had a bit of an accident on a treadmill. I was training for a half marathon and I got a bit hot so I took all my clothes off, got back on the treadmill and it went 'phew' and I got trapped at the bottom of the treadmill, naked." Mo was left open mouthed after Carol's confession and host Joel Dommett could be heard saying "What?"
Hours before her TV appearance on The Masked Singer UK, which was pre-recorded earlier this month, Carol fans flustered on as she dressed down in nothing but a fluffy robe and said: "Excuse the state of me!". The former Countdown star took to her Instagram Stories early on Monday morning (December 25), already looking bright-eyed and bushy tailed with a natural make-up look – just swiping on a hint of dark eyeliner in her water line and a bright pink lip tint.
With her honey blonde hair arranged in loose waves that tumbled down her shoulders, Carol already had fans a little hot under the collar. She wrapped herself in a white towelling robe and nothing else as she addressed the camera, sharing a sweet message with fans. She explained during a short video: "Hello lovelies, you superstars – happy Christmas to you from me and thank you for all of your wonderful birthday messages yesterday.
"Excuse the state of me; I’ve been bunking up with my daughter. We're having a big family Christmas. Bunking up with my daughter for the last few nights and she is a squiggler. That’s why I look so tired. As the girls will know I’ve still got last night’s make-up on. Ah, who cares? It’s Christmas!” She then added: "Anyway, I hope you have a fantastic day, and sending love! And thanks for everything that you do, really. Lots of love."
It comes after Carol confessed during her stint on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! that she prefers to dump her boyfriends during the festive period and prefers "a few occasionals" in the bedroom. She explained to Scarlett Moffatt and Sam Quek: "One of my boyfriends, I’d gone off him a bit, and I decided to dump him before Christmas. They always get dumped before Christmas, by the way.

"Christmas time is party time, I don’t think I should say any more. Anyway the boyfriend said he was going to leave my Christmas present anyway. In the box was two tickets for a weekend on the Orient Express which I’d never done but I’d like to. I know who I would like to take, someone who is very nice for a few little days here and there. Generally I’m a rubbish girlfriend because I’m too independent and not romantic. It is because if you are a bloke they tend to be high maintenance and they like a lot of attention and I don’t have the time for it so I prefer to have a few… a few occasionals suits me fine."
