Celtic were denied a penalty kick after a handball on the line by the St Johnstone defender. The matter was referred upstairs to VAR, who saw nothing wrong with the ball ricochetting against the Saint player’s elbow.

You would be annoyed if it was given against you because of the space between the players; albeit, if his hand isn’t there. It’s 1-0 to Celtic.
Compare and contrast to the handball awarded against Iwata against Hearts. The argument may be that the player has had the ball around his arm in a natural position but the lack of consistency is staggering. The referee should have been told to look at it again and then, if he believes that there’s little that the player could’ve done, then fair enough. However, the fact that he’s not been asked to look at it is bizarre.
Celtic are ahead thanks to a Kyogo goal but have had the ball in the net two further times but the offside flag has gone up on each occasion
