Olivia Rodrigo and Chappell Roan Wear Semi-Sheer Gowns to ...

On Friday, Olivia Rodrigo posed with friend Chappell Roan at the premiere of Olivia Rodrigo: GUTS World Tour, the documentary covering the worldwide tour of her 2023 album.

For the red carpet event, Rodrigo was wearing a body-hugging black and nude dress with a plunging neckline. She left her hair down and wore a natural makeup palette. Roan wore a semi-sheer red dress covered in floral appliqué and left her hair down in a red cloud behind her. She also had on matching opera gloves and wore her signature colorful makeup look with blue eyeshadow and high blush circles.

Roan was an opener on Rodrigo’s SOUR Tour in 2022 and can be heard on the GUTS album. In August, Roan was a surprise guest at Rodrigo’s Los Angeles tour stop where they performed her hit song “Hot To Go.”

“I absolutely adore her,” Rodrigo said to the audience at the time. “I think she is one of the most singular, inspiring, powerful artists I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting.”

While on the red carpet for the premiere, Roan confronted a photographer she recognized from the Grammys who she allegedly had an altercation with. In a clip circulating online, Roan can be seen speaking to him and asking for an apology.

“You were so disrespectful to me at the Grammys. You yelled at me at a Grammy party,” she can be heard telling him. “Yes… I remember. You were so rude to me. I need an apology for that. Yeah, yep, you do. …. You need to apologize to me.”

The photographer could not be seen in the video, but it seems like they did not reach a resolution before Roan returned to the red carpet.

Rodrigo’s GUTS World Tour began in February and she is set to resume more concert dates in March, heading to South America and then England. Her concert film is set to debut on Netflix on October 29.
