Chelsea to hold live screening in LA for final Premier League fixture
Chelsea Football Club has announced that it will be holding a live screening of its final Premier League game for the 2022/23 season against Newcastle United in Los Angeles, California. Originally scheduled to take place on May 5, the event had to be rescheduled to May 28, 2023, to allow fans to enjoy the game free of charge. This will be Chelsea’s first visit to the USA since last summer’s pre-season tour.
The screening will take place at The Rooftop Terrace of the GRAMMY Museum, which will be closed to the general public for the occasion. Fans will have the opportunity to meet with former Chelsea player and legend, Joe Cole, who will also be attending the event.
Aside from the live screening, Chelsea will also host a girls’ soccer tournament and content partnerships as part of its global tour initiative, The Famous CFC. After an incredibly successful trip to Mumbai, India, the club hopes to replicate its previous achievements with its upcoming tour in Los Angeles.
To have a chance to attend the event, supporters are advised to participate in a ballot process. Interested fans can apply for free tickets via the link provided, and only two tickets per person will be allowed. The deadline for submission is Sunday, May 7, and winners will be contacted shortly after that date.
The Famous CFC’s visit to Los Angeles is a great opportunity for the club to connect with its fans, who have been eagerly awaiting their chance to see the team in action. The rescheduling of the event bodes well for a successful turnout, and the Blues’ performance on the pitch will no doubt be a source of excitement for supporters in attendance.
