70. Seconds after Barnett had laid Wrexham's best chance of the night on a plate for Waters at one end, Chelsea block, break and almost extend their lead at the other.
A quick move down the right sees a cross teed up for Sterling arriving at the far post, but the England star is unable to convert what would have been a rare-headed goal.
68. Red sky at night, second half s... low to get going.
67. Unsurprisingly, with all the changes that have taken place, the intensity and fluidity has gone from the game.
It now has very much the feel of a pre-season game being played abroad.
Don't these guys know that the Florida Cup is on the line!
65. Chelsea have snuck in another sub themselves.
Lewis Hall, who we saw a few times on the left last season, is on for Andrey Santos.
64. A swing and a miss from Raheem Sterling!
The Chelsea substitute goes for goal with an outlandish effort but is way off target.
62: I was wrong, it was six substitutes.
Wrexham bring on Ollie Palmer, Billy Waters, Luke Young, Max Cleworth, Jordan Davies and Liam McAlinden.
Off go Paul Mullin, Sam Dalby, James Jones, Ben Tozer, Elliot Lee and Tom O’Connor.
60. Gallagher is back being his busy self out there, winning possession and feeding Sterling.
Meanwhile, Phil Parkinson is preparing what looks to be a quintet of substitutes.
58. The first yellow card of the game is shown to Cesare Casadei.
In his attempt to win back possession after losing out to Tom O'Connor, the Italian takes down his opponent from behind.
56. Ten minutes into the second half, and we can now confirm the six changes that Chelsea made at the break.
On came Chilwell, Sterling, Gallagher, Nkunku, Gilchrist and Angelo with Gusto, Cucurella, Moreira, Jackson, Maatsen and Chukwuemeka making way.
54. Casadei steps in to break up play again and breezes forward.
He doesn't get too far before being upended by O'Connor.
52. Gilchrist concedes a corner that Wrexham swing into the box.
The Londoners half-clear the lines, but it falls nicely for Jones to strike from outside the box. Unfortunately for him, he strikes it high and wide.
50. Wrexham are certainly superior to their Premier League opponents when it comes to getting information out.
The Red Dragons have also made some half-time changes with Rob Lainton, Aaron Hayden, Will Boyle, Ryan Barnett and Callum McFadzean all on.
Ben Foster, Eoghan O’Connell, Andy Cannon, Anthony Forde and Jacob Mendy have been replaced.
48. Ben Chilwell and Conor Gallagher are also on for the Blues - as are Alfie Gilchrist and Angelo Gabriel.
The newcomers are in full working order and ready to go which is more than can be said for the Chelsea app which is streaming the game.
46. We're back underway at the Kenan Memorial Stadium with Chelsea two goals to the good against League Two Wrexham.
Mauricio Pochettino will be after more of the same in the second half, albeit from a different bunch of players.
There have been changes already with Christopher Nkunku and Raheem Sterling introduced, and we will confirm them all as we get them.
Two shots on target in the first half at the Kenan Memorial Stadium, and two goals.
Life at Stamford Bridge is certainly efficient under Mauricio Pochettino.
The whistle goes for half-time in North Carolina, but the new Chelsea manager isn't happy. Jordan Davies explains why:
The referee blows for half-time just as Chelsea were on the counter attack and Mauricio Pochettino is furious. He storms onto the pitch and confronts the ref with plenty of verbals tossed his way. There was nothing 'friendly' about that encounter...

44. It's been a great first half for Ian Maatsen.
A star of Burnley's promotion campaign last term, he has been at the double in front of goal tonight and giving Mauricio Pochettino plenty to think about.
42. Three minutes before half-time, and Chelsea - and Ian Maatsen - have a second!
Diego Moreira takes charge in the final third, coming in off the right wing to find the Blues' goalscorer central and 25 yards from goal.
With a crowd of players in front of him, Maatsen executes a quick one-two with Carney Chukwuemeka on the edge of the penalty area, and then perfectly places a left-footed effort into the bottom-right corner of Ben Foster's goal.
It's a beautifully-worked team goal, and it may be time to hail Poch-ball!
39. Jackson finds himself with the ball at his feet inside the box but, in trying to make space, is dispossessed by Mendy.
37. Chelsea win the ball back high up the field, and have the Wrexham defence in a panic.
However, Chukwuemeka tries to be too clever with a pass through the middle for Maatsen when better options lay out wide, and the League Two side survive.
35. Excellent defending from O'Connor snuffs out Moreira's run down the right.
The young Chelsea winger would have been better off attempting to whip in a cross with his right foot rather than checking back inside on to his left.
33. Jackson almost - almost - steals in on the left flank.
The Senegalese forward looks as though he could be absolutely rapid with space to move into.
31. Another sniff of goal for Wrexham, and no prizes for guessing how it came about.
A long throw into the box from Tozer causes momentary confusion before O'Connell loops a header just wide of the post.
30. In thirty degree heat, fluids have been replenished and the action is back underway again.
Mauricio Pochettino seems happy with what he's seen from his team so far.
27. And as they say at The Oval, it's time for drinks...
