A man and a woman have been charged in connection with the murder of Stephen Ring, whose body was found in a Wexford quarry on Sunday.
Christopher Judge, 41, was charged with the murder of Mr Ring, age 27, whose body was found in a lake at Carrigfoyle quarry, a remote beauty spot popular with walkers about 10 minutes southwest of Wexford town.
The 27-year-old had been missing since October 15.
Stephen Ring's body was found in a lake at a quarry close to Wexford town on Sunday.Jane Corcoran, 34, was charged with aiding and abetting in a crime — namely murder — contrary to Section 7(2) and (4) of the Criminal Law Act 1997.
Both Mr Judge and Ms Corcoran have an address at Páirc na Dara, Clonard, Wexford town.
Detective Garda Leonard Casey of Wexford Garda Station gave evidence of arrest, charge and caution of Mr Judge at Wexford District Court on Tuesday.
Mr Judge was arrested on Monday, October 28 just after 10pm. He made no reply after he was charged and cautioned, Det Gda Casey said.

Judge John Cheatle remanded both in custody to appear again before Wexford District Court on Monday, November 4 via video link.
