Limerick hurler Cian Lynch welcomes twins with partner

It was a tough weekend for Limerick hurlers but returning home there would be two little people who would make Cian Lynch smile again and that was his two newborns.

Yes, Cian and his partner Dayna welcomed twins into their family at the end of last month but kept it under wraps until this week.

With Limerick striving for five, taking on Cork was a challenge with the rebels beating the treaty county by just two points. And while there may be no more training for this season, Cian will surely be kept on his toes.

Reposting a picture from his partner Dayna's social media, the couple introduced the twins to the world, with a photo of Daddy Cian walking out of the hospital with the baby carriers in each hand.

Above it read 'When two become four,' announcing that they had arrived on June 29.

While it doesn't say whether the twins are male or female or one of both, the two blue heart emojis may just be a clue.

The couple who have been together since 2022 kept the pregnancy quiet until May. Posting the news on their social media the parents-to-be didn't give too much away stating the same line, 'When 2 becomes 4,' followed by two blue love hearts.

The picture showed Dayna lying in bed with Cian's hand resting on her tummy!

So with a busy few months ahead, we can't wait to see the twins in their matching Limerick kit!
