Cian Lynch is loving life as a new dad after sharing a heartwarming update on his newborn twins.

The five-time All-Ireland winner has said he is ‘feeling blessed and grateful’ as they get to grips with life as a family of four.

Both he and partner Dayna welcomed their kids into the world at the end of June.

He gave an update on his parenting journey on Instagram in which he and Dayna could be seen holding the babies.

The Patrickswell forward said: ‘Feeling blessed and grateful to have spent the last 10 weeks with this crew

‘May the sleepless nights continue’.

The post was flooded with comments from followers and well wishers.

One person wrote: ‘Too cute, massive congratulations to you both.’

While a second person added: ‘You’re on the beginning of an amazing journey.’

And a third person penned: ‘Precious times. Congrats to you both.’

Earlier this year, the couple had kept their big news to themselves prior to the All-Ireland hurling semi-final against Cork.

But after Limerick’s surprise elimination at the hands of their Munster rivals Lynch did go public with his exciting news.

He shared a gorgeous black and white snap of him leaving the hospital with the twins with the caption: ‘When 2 becomes 4’.
