No, Cillian Murphy isn't the latest actor to undergo CGI de-ageing - this is his 16-year-old son Aran.
The teen is also an actor, and he's just been cast in Klara And The Sun - an upcoming film by quirky Oscar-winning director Taika Waititi. Aran will be performing alongside American A-listers including Amy Adams and Wednesday star Jenna Ortega.
Aran is Cillian's second son and he's the bop off his old man - so if talent runs in the Murphy DNA, he might be lined up for his own Oscar nominations in a few years' time.
The junior Murphy has been acting since he was 11, and has previously worked mainly in theatre, playing the title role in an international touring production of Hamnet in 2018 and 2019.
He also starred in sci-fi thriller Lola in 2022, which was shot partly on location in Ireland.
The public have come to know the Murphy family a little better over the past few months, as the largely private Cillian entered the Hollywood limelight with his starring role in Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer - which earned him an Oscar nomination for Best Actor.
Cillian was at his parents' home in Cork when he received word of the nomination - and his proud mother celebrated by serving up cake.
Cillian also won a Golden Globe for his Oppenheimer performance, and amused the crowd by making a speech with his wife Yvonne's lipstick still on his nose.
Yvonne McGuinness, Aran's mother, is a visual artist who reportedly met Cillian back in the 1990s while working on a play.
Yvonne and Cillian's two sons Malachy and Aran were born in 2005 and 2007, and until 2015 they lived in London.
They moved back to Dublin to be closer to their families - and, Cillian joked, to stop his kids from developing English accents.
