Irish singer-songwriter CMAT shocked Brits attendees last night with her jaw-dropping dress which left little to the imagination.

The pop-country star wore a black satin dress by designer Sophie Lincoln which appeared quite modest from the front with long puff sleeves and a high neck.

The singer was clearly having fun as she stunned photographers by turning around to show the back of the low-cut feather-trimmed gown purposely revealing her bottom.

She teamed the dress with a bag in the shape of a rose, bright blue eyeshadow, tooth gems and an elaborate updo studded with diamanté shrimp hair clips and matching earrings.

The Dublin singer was nominated for International Artist of the Year alongside Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift. The award was won by SZA but CMAT didn’t let that dampen her spirits.

CMAT, whose real name is Ciara Mary-Alice Thompson, giggled as she spun around to show the racy ensemble to Laura Whitmore as they discussed the daring outfit choice.

Laura quipped: “You won’t even have to lift up to go to the toilet.”

Sharing a photo of the outfit on Instagram, CMAT wrote: “I told you I was good craic”, much to the amusement of her followers.

She is currently on a high after her second album Crazymad For Me hit number one on the Irish album chart and selling out four nights in a row at the Olympia Theatre in Dublin last year.

The 28-year-old played to an intimate audience at London’s Bush Hall to tracks from across her discography including I Don’t Really Care For You and Stay For Something on Friday evening.

The show was part of this year’s Brits Week concert line-up, which raises funds for the charity War Child who support children whose lives have been affected by war.

CMAT is taking her California or Bust tour across the UK and US in coming months, culminating a hometown gig in Dublin’s Fairview Park on June 13.
