A sign at their recent Amsterdam show suggested a potential upcoming Irish show could be on the cards.

The acclaimed band are currently in the midst of a world tour and are finishing off the European leg which did not take them to Ireland in 2023 to many fans' disappointment.

According to the Irish Mirror, during their shows in Amsterdam, a fan pointed out that a screen displays the words, #ColdplayDublin as well as #ColdplayMunich, #ColdplayVienna and #ColdplayAmsterdam.

What this means has not been revealed. According to their website, the band played shows in Munich and Vienna on their tour already in June.

In another tweet, one more fan also raised that other cities were presented on the screen and questioned what it meant: “The # during the wait on the big screens??? Bucarest, Helsinki, Rome, Düsseldorf!”

According to the official website, there are no tour dates for these countries.

Earlier today, it was also posted on social media that Ticketmaster.ie were showing tickets for Coldplay at Croke Park on August 30 2024 - with presale tickets going on sale on July 25.

Since sending fans into a spiral online, the event has now been removed with no further information on whether or not the event is real.
