Ticketmaster fans have been left confused after its website appeared not to show details for Coldplay presale tickets today.

Coldplay presale tickets are due on sale at 9am this morning (September 26) with general sale tickets being released at 9am tomorrow (September 27). But fans have been left “worried” as the Ticketmaster page only shows details for the general sale tickets. Writing on X/Twitter, one person said: “Can you tell me why the Ticketmaster website isn’t showing presale option when clicking on the presale code link? Assume it will be updated in time for the rush of tickets?”

One person responded: “Same problem here.” A third person said: “I keep reloading but nothing happens I'm getting worried.” However, another fan offered reassurance and said the page will be changed to show presale tickets at 9am. They said: “They have confirmed that the link currently points to the general sale link, but at 9am that link being accessed will update to point towards presale.”

Another person shared an email from Ticketmaster, which confirmed: “You just need to wait until 9am BST when the presale link officially goes live. At that time, the link should redirect you appropriately to the presale instead of the general sale." However, this hasn't stopped other fans from panicking.

One person said: “Ticketmaster is ticketmastering again, where’s the presale for coldplay ????“ Another said: “I've got a code but on Ticketmaster there’s only links to the general sale.“ A third said: “I have a pre sale code for hopefully trying to get @coldplay tickets this morning, when I go onto my ticketmaster there's no presale happening just general sale.“

How do I access Coldplay presale tickets?

Those who pre-ordered the new Coldplay album Moon Music from the Coldplay UK or EU Stores were automatically for the presale. Coldplay fans had until 11.59pm on Tuesday, September 24, to make the purchase. Those who paid for the album ahead of the announcement were told they had automatically qualified for the presale.

Those who have been successful should have received an email by now with a code to use on the Ticketmaster website. On the Coldplay website, it reads: "You will be emailed with a link to the ticket provider and an early access code from 5pm BST on Wednesday, 25th September.

"The presale will take place on Thursday, September 26 at 9am BST. Tickets will be available on a first come, first served basis to those with access codes, an we expect demand to be high. Please note that having an access code does not guarantee a ticket. You MUST have a Ticketmaster account using [the email address used to sign up for presale] and be signed in to access the presale."

Coldplay has announced that 50% of tickets for the Hull shows will go to local residents - and there will be a presale for those with a postcode beginning with HU, YO, DN or LN at 6pm today (September 26).

Where do I enter my presale code?

When it gets to 9am, the Ticketmaster website should update to show the presale tickets - this is when you'll be prompted to enter the presale code that you should have received in your email. To help make the process as smooth as possible, it's recommended you log into Ticketmaster before the tickets go on sale, and you have your emails open with your presale code ready to use.
