Coleen Rooney makes dramatic entrance into I'm A Celeb
Coleen Rooney faces 'Wagatha' gags as she makes dramatic entrance into I'm A Celeb after best wishes from Wayne
Wayne Rooney has publicly shown his support for his wife, Coleen, as she embarked on her journey into the I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! camp.
Her 39-year-old husband shared a heartfelt message just hours before the show’s premiere. The couple, parents to four boys—Kai, 15, Klay, 11, Kit, eight, and Cass, six—are set to be apart for several weeks while Coleen tackles this new challenge in Australia.
Ahead of last night Wayne took to Instagram, posting a series of family photos and Coleen’s official jungle portrait. His caption read: 'Good luck to our mum who’s in the jungle for @imacelebrity.

The show’s opening episode did not disappoint, offering viewers a blend of humor and chaos. Hosts Ant and Dec took a playful jab at Coleen’s high-profile legal battle, which came to be known as the 'Wagatha Christie' trial. As Coleen prepared to face her first task, Ant quipped, 'It’ll be nice for Coleen to face a trial that doesn’t involve Rebekah Vardy.' The cheeky remark, followed by Ant’s promise of more jokes to come, set social media abuzz with praise, with viewers calling the hosts ‘legends.’

The challenge quickly spiraled into chaos as their canoe capsized within moments. Prior to the race, contestants had to retrieve keys hidden in 'Hell Holes' along the riverbank, each filled with critters and only some containing working keys.
GK Barry, a podcast host, drew laughs as she squealed in horror, mascara streaming down her face, after discovering cockroaches in her clothes. “There’s one in my pants!” she screamed, much to the amusement of viewers.

The celebrities who parachuted in were tasked with choosing teammates for the river race. Dean, faced with a choice between Coleen and Melvin, declared, “Melvin, I’m so so sorry! Wagatha Christie, you’re coming with me!”
Despite their spirited efforts, Dean and Coleen’s boat tipped over as water flooded in, leading Dean to joke, “On the sign, it said choose your boat wisely, and now we know why!” The high-energy sequence set the tone for what promises to be a captivating season filled with grit, humor, and unexpected challenges.
