Husband Wayne, 39, manages Championship side Plymouth Argyle, 300 miles away from the family home in Cheshire — so Coleen has had to draft in an army of friends and relatives to help with Kai, 15, Klay, 11, Kit, eight, and Cass, six.
She said: “I am really anxious about leaving the kids. That’s my biggest thing, and for weeks and months that’s been on my mind.
“But I’ve come to terms with it. I’ve planned, I’ve prepped, I’ve got an army of people — family, friends, school friends — all helping out with the kids.
“They are going to be fine, they’ll probably have a great time. I have prepped, as you can see behind me. That is, like, literally front and back, four weeks of timetables, football runs, parties, just everything.
“Before, I just wrote them all a little card each to open when they come home from school tomorrow, and a little teddy to keep so that they know I am constantly thinking of them.”
Coleen arrived at Brisbane Airport on an Emirates flight at 10.40pm local time yesterday, having travelled from Manchester.
Wearing an £875 Loewe zip-top and carrying a Chanel tote bag, she smiled and said she was excited ahead of entering the jungle.
Coleen added that she had said her goodbyes to Wayne on Monday morning and that his last words to her were: “Good luck!”
She also took the children on her final school run for weeks.
Coleen said: “For me it was emotional, not too much for the kids. I just done it as normal.”

Asked if there were any tears, she said: “There might’ve been. Not from the kids, just from me.”
She also said she was “not sure” if Wayne would be voting for her to do the Bushtucker Trials.
Coleen — the ITV show’s record fee signing — was the last of ten celebs to fly into Australia this week for Sunday’s curtain-raiser.
She was guarded by an ITV security guard before being driven to a secret location.
Former Love Islander Maura Higgins, 33, and ex-BBC radio host the Rev Richard Coles, 62, are expected to be the late arrivals into camp.
Meanwhile, we can reveal Coleen and her new campmates have got a fresh foe to fear after deadly fire ants were detected near a mansion being used for filming Sunday’s opening show.

A warning has been put in place near the £21million Diamond Head estate after the insects swarmed the area in Queensland.
Fire ant bites cause the skin to feel like it is burning and bring on blisters. In severe cases, they can cause fatal anaphylaxis.
Aussie authorities have pledged £303million into a national fire ant eradication programme.
The invasive species damage crops and kill livestock.
Last year, five nests were also discovered in Murwillumbah, New South Wales — where the jungle camp is.
