Conor Bradley continued his rise from an academy prospect to a first-team star with a sublime performance for Liverpool.

The 20-year-old right back only made his professional debut on November 30, but now looks like a seasoned professional in a run of six straight games, the latest a Man of the Match display to beat Chelsea 4-1.

Adding to his tally of three assists, the Northern Irishman now has a goal too, brilliantly making it 2-0 at home to Chelsea in the Premier League.

Collecting a Luis Diaz pass just inside the Chelsea half, the youngster carried the ball all the way into the area before unleashing a shot past Dorde Petrovic and into the far corner.

Reeling off in celebration, the chant of 'There's only one Conor Bradley' began belting out around Anfield.

There was more to come too, with Bradley collecting a pair of assists before receiving a standing ovation upon his 68th minute substitution.

With only two Premier League appearances to his name, Bradley's total of three assists in the division is now as many as Manchester United's Bruno Fernandes and Arsenal's Gabriel Jesus.

The away team posed little threat, though, not only being pinned back by Bradley on the right flank, but also struggling to find away past him heading in the other direction.

Bradley has been heavily relied upon since vice captain Trent Alexander-Arnold picked up a knee ligament injury on January 7.

So far the academy graduate hasn't looked out of place for a moment, and he's impressed manager Jurgen Klopp.

"Exceptional, what a boy, what fantastic character and the potential," the German said.

"He is in the right team, everyone loves him and respects him and wants him to succeed."

Bradley provided Diogo Jota's opener in the rout, but wasn't officially awarded the assist until half time.

Later, putting the game to bed, he fired a cross onto the head of Dominik Szoboszlai to complete a sublime display.
