Irish UFC star Conor McGregor's father Tony was rushed to hospital on Thursday following a heart attack that required surgery.
The 64-year-old Dubliner took ill on Thursday morning and was taken to the Hermitage hospital where he received treatment, including surgery for a stent.
In a positive update posted to his Instagram account, Tony McGregor shared a photo from his hospital bed saying: "Thanks to the cardio team, Hermitage.
"Heart attack in the morning, stent in the afternoon, sweet (and) sour chicken in the evening.
"See ya later suckers."

The news comes as son Conor prepares for his return to the UFC octagon next month against Michael Chandler in what will be the Dubliner's first fight since July 2021 when he lost to Dustin Poirier. His long-awaited return to the cage will be the main event at UFC 303 in Las Vegas.
