His family are now facing the financial burden of medical costs
A YOUNG Northern Ireland man's family have flown down under to be by his bedside as he fights for his life.
Conor Molloy from Gilford, Co Down, is in a coma in Australia where he is reported to have been working for the past few years.

His family travelled to Australia earlier this week to be by his side.
Local Gilford Amateur Boxing Club put together an online fundraiser to assist Conor and his family as he fights for his life in hospital.
The Gilford ABC fundraiser for the Molloy family has hit over €33,000 (£27,565) in donations - surpassing the €12,000 (£10,000) target set.
Fundraiser organiser Gavin Duffy wrote: "Everyone at Gilford ABC and in the Gilford community and surrounding areas would like to offer our thoughts and prayers for the Molloy family.
"Any donations would be greatly appreciated and will be forwarded to family to help with the considerable costs.
"Unfortunately Gilford lad Conor Molloy is fighting for is life out in Australia... family have had to fly out to be at his bedside.
"Can we help make things a little bit easier financially for his family. Together as a village, as a district."
Tullyish Gaelic Athletic Club in Co Down shared the fundraiser and urged club members to support their fellow team mate and his family.
They said: "Clubmate, our teammate, our friend and our fellow Gael, Conor Molloy is fighting for his life in Australia.
"Our club is asking you to keep Conor and his family in your thoughts and in your prayers at this very difficult time.
"A GoFundMe page has been set up by Gilford ABC in order to assist Conor's family with the obvious considerable costs, and we ask all Gaels to support this by clicking on the link below and donating what you can."
Local DUP MP Carla Lockhart urged members of the community to support the local family.
She said he is facing "unimaginable challenges" and his family are now facing the financial burden of medical costs.
'DIFFICULT TIME SO FAR FROM HOME'Lockhart wrote: "I am reaching out to our community to ask for support for Connor Molloy, a young man from our constituency (Gilford), who is fighting for his life in Australia.
"He is currently in a coma, facing unimaginable challenges.
"His family has flown out to be by his side, but they now face the enormous financial burden of living and medical costs during this difficult time so far from home.
She urged members of the community to donate to the fundraiser to show the family that "they are not alone."
She continued: "I encourage anyone who is able to contribute to please consider donating. Let’s come together as a community to show Connor and his family that they are not alone.
Adding: "Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
"Please keep Connor and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
"Well done to sports clubs in the local area for this amazing effort!"
