Dublin's Conor Burke named man-of-the-matchHe hit four points from play in an impressive showing, and was unlucky to be on the losing side. He said their efficiency let them down, but says there is some building blocks for next year.

"Tough to look back on it now straight away," he told RTÉ.

"I think our efficiency let us down, let ourselves down in that final third.

"We kept pushing and kept pushing in the hope of getting a goal.

"Earlier on in the game was when we let ourselves down, in terms of turn-overs and wides. No silverware this year, but hopefully some building blocks for next year."

Cork hold onto win by five to advance to the All-Ireland semi-finals. Dublin finished well but their surge came too late.

A row has broken out in front of the Cork goals as Sean Currie lined up a late free. It ends with yellow cards for Danny Sutcliffe and Mark Coleman, though Sutcliffe is fortunate to get away with a yellow as he pulled on Coleman with the hurl.

Diarmuid Ó Dúlaing has made a big impact and he wins another free.  Donal Burke goes for goal but it's stopped on the line. The game has erupted into life. Dublin are finally starting to hurl, having let caution off with the wind.
