Coronation Street spoilers follow.

Coronation Street's Nick Tilsley continues being blackmailed amid Leanne Battersby's involvement in The Institute.

In new scenes, cult leader Rowan Cunliffe will step up his blackmailing plan against Nick, asking him for more money if he doesn't want Leanne to know of his one-night stand with her sister Toyah.

Meanwhile, Amy Barlow prepares to set off on her Institute retreat, having become the latest Weatherfield resident to join the cult. Rowan tells her she's destined for great things, leaving Leanne feeling jealous.

Recently, Nick was left furious when he realised Rowan had sent someone to photograph him and Toyah hugging. He assaulted The Institute leader who is now asking him a £20k investment in the cult in exchange for not reporting him for assault.

Will Nick comply with Rowan's request and part with the cash to avoid being arrested?

Nick has already a few things to square with Leanne as he admitted to David Platt he's falling in love with Toyah, who he is now supporting following her ovarian cancer diagnosis.

Toyah initially believed she may be pregnant after her affair with Nick. Her doctor told her that a false positive result could indicate cancer and, after undergoing further tests, it was confirmed that Toyah has germ cell ovarian cancer and would require an operation to remove a tumour as well as some possible chemotherapy sessions.

Will Nick confess his feelings to Toyah? And will he tell Leanne?

Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
