Coronation Street, EastEnders and Emmerdale are all in a huge soap schedule shake-up this week.

Soap fans will recall that Emmerdale airs every week night at 7:30pm on ITV and ITV X and on Thursday nights it airs a special one-hour episode. Meanwhile, Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV and ITV X and EastEnders airs Monday to Thursday at 7:30pm on BBC One.

However, this week has undergone a huge schedule shake-up due to the FA Cup, which has left soap fans frustrated. This means that Emmerdale will air at the earlier time of 7pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Meanwhile, Corrie will be cancelled on Wednesday and will instead air on Thursday at its usual time of 8pm. The ITV soaps' schedule will resume as usual on Friday night.

Elsewhere, EastEnders will be cancelled Tuesday and Wednesday. The BBC One soap will resume its schedule on Thursday night and will air a double bill on Friday evening. Taking to Twitter, now X, soap fans have been sharing the updated schedules in order to keep fellow viewers aware.

One person said: "#Emmerdale on at 7 tonight. Also no #EastEnders. No #WaterlooRoad either as the last episode aired last night", a different account put: "Reminder #Emmerdale is on at 7.00 tonight", another wrote: "Don't forget #Emmerdale is on at 7pm tonight!" while another added: "There is no #EastEnders episode tonight. The next episode is on Thursday and is available to watch now on iplayer."

It comes as Coronation Street will be keeping viewers entertained this week with a series of explosive bombshells. Spoilers for this week reveal that three returns will hit the cobbles, which will leave fans delighted. Elsewhere, fans will be left concerned about Lauren Bolton when she is reported as missing to the police. Also in Weatherfield, Daisy Midgeley and Jenny Connor's downfall could be nearing next week as Rovers Return Inn news leaves Carla Connor confused.

Elsewhere, EastEnders is lining up explosive scenes this week with a series of dramatic storylines hitting Albert Square. Fans will be shocked when evil Dean Wicks makes a sinister plan to stop one resident leaving Albert Square. Elsewhere, viewers will be left fearing the worst as Nish Panesar turns violent. Also in Walford, the BBC One soap will issue an update on Rocky Cotton after he was arrested last year in a shock twist.
