Alexandra Burke is engaged to Irish footballer Darren Randolph

Congratulations are in order for Alexandra Burke and Darren Randolph!

The couple revealed that they are now engaged.

The singer shared several snaps of their big weekend, as the Irish footballer got down on one knee.

The X Factor winner looked gorgeous in a green dress with lace details as he popped the question.

They were enjoying a meal together at the Rosewood Hotel in London when Darren surprised the singer with the proposal.

She posted a snap of Darren down on one knee as he asked her to be his wife. She captioned the pictures with infinity signs and a diamond ring.

She also shared a video of the glamorous proposal.

“Here’s to us forever! I can’t believe I get to marry my best friend,” she wrote.

“Bring on the Burke-Randolph wedding. I can’t wait to call you my husband.”

The couple welcomed their first child in 2022 before baby number two arrived in 2023.

Alexandra and Darren have chosen not to share any information, including their babies’ genders or names, publically.

Darren is currently a goalkeeper for Middlesborough in the UK, while Alexandra works as a singer and theatre performer.
