Ok no Dolly Parton holograms please!
Dolly Parton has spoken out about how she feels about AI and how it can affect her legacy after she passes.
The 77-year-old country icon was at a press conference in London recently and spoke said she's concerned that advancements in technology could keep her soul "grounded" on earth against her wishes.
When asked about her thoughts on AI, Dolly said:
“I have to decide how much of that high-tech stuff I want to be involved because I don’t want to leave my soul here on this earth."
She continued, “I think with some of this stuff I’ll be grounded here for ever … I’ll be around, we’ll find ways to keep me here.”
She's rights to be concerned, AI is playing more and more of a role in the music industry!
Between AIsis doing covers of Oasis songs that the real-life Gallagher brothers never sang, and the Abba concert featuring digital versions of the group's younger selves, technology is changing the landscape of music!
And in classic Dolly Parton fashion, she joked: “I don’t want AI. The only intelligence I have is artificial. Everything I have is artificial!"
Dolly was in London to promote her new album which is on the way! The woman never stops ????
