Daire Ó Baoill is an experienced football player and currently plays for his club Gaoth Dobhair and the Donegal county team.
However, he was also an accomplished association football player and was captain of the League of Ireland’s under-18 team.
Away from sports, he is busy with his day job and travelling around the world with his girlfriend.

What is Daire’s job outside of Gaelic?Daire previously worked in Teach Mhicí, a pub owned by the family of Gaoth Dobhair teammate Kevin Cassidy.
He went on to qualify as a Special Needs Assistant and studied at Letterkenny Institute of Technology.
Why did Daire play football?Daire made a name for himself in football as well and played for the Finn Harps under-19 team for three years.
He also captained the Republic of Ireland under-18 national football team.
The sports star explained that he started playing football to improve his performance in Gaelic.
“I knew at the end of the day it would be GAA, that's why I played as much soccer as I could,” he told Joe.ie in 2018.
“Two years ago I remember going from one game playing from Harps, I think we beat Bohemians 3-1, and then I had to line out in championship for Gaoth Dobhair against Termon."
He added: "We lost to Termon in the last group stage game. You're going from game to game and I just knew the legs wouldn't be able to do that for much longer.
“The manager I had at Finn Harps, Joe Boyle, he was a Gaelic man too at heart and he understood the decision at the end of the day. He'd still be getting onto me and things like that.”
Who is Daire’s girlfriend?Daire is in a relationship with fellow Donegal native Caitlin O'Donnell.
He has posted pictures of them together on his social media and has shared their travelling adventures together.
Daire has enjoyed his time in Albufeira where they parasailed, they went skydiving in Australia’s Springbrook National Park and hiking in Madeira.
