Half an hour to go until we are under way!

Permutations

Cork, Tyrone and Donegal all still able to finish first, second or third, with Clare, who are bottom with no points, still able to advance with a win over Donegal, but they would need Tyrone to take something of Cork. The standings are currently Cork (4 points), Tyrone (2 points), Donegal (2 points) and Clare (0 points).

Cork will top the group barring a defeat to Tryone, but could finish third if they lose and Donegal win.

Welcome

Good afternoon and welcome to our live blog for today's All-Ireland Senior Football Championship clash between Clare and Donegal.

These sides played in an opening round group game in Ennis last year which was competitive before Donegal ran out winners though the dynamic is rather different this time.

Clare still have a chance of progression but it’s a long shot against a Donegal side smarting from the defeat to Cork and needing to post a score to give themselves the best chance of topping the group.

Throw-in is at 3pm and we'll keep you up to date with all the action right here throughout the afternoon.

Of course, what happens in Cork's clash with Tyrone will also have a huge say on the final group standings.
