Taking place from November 8-13, the tournament will mark the first time that the newly upgraded Lakes course has welcomed stars for competitive action following an €800,000 renovation this year.

The Greg Norman-designed layout was elevated to new heights with pristine new Zoysia grass and reimagined bunkering that promises to pose all-new challenges for hopefuls.

A field stacked with multiple DP World Tour stars, including former Ryder Cup player Edoardo Molinari, will be joined by some of the sport’s brightest young stars for a gruelling six-round marathon with potentially career-defining stakes.

Though usually accessible to players of all skill levels, the Spanish resort’s two 18-hole courses are a stern test in tournament conditions and guarantee a gripping week of golf. The field will play four alternating rounds – two each on the Hills and Lakes courses – before the cut, after which surviving players will battle it out across two final rounds on the Lakes course. Only the leading 25 players plus ties will earn a priceless DP World Tour card for next season.

The Lakes Course at INFINITUM has benefited from a major renovation

Following the Lakes’ renovation, similarly transformative work on the Hills course is set to commence shortly after the conclusion of Q School, when a composite course with the nine-hole Ruins (also designed by Norman) plus the front nine of the Hills course will be open for play.

European Golf Design – led by Dave Sampson, designer of the Marco Simone course in Rome for the 2023 Ryder Cup – will begin refurbishment work in December 2024 and continue into early 2026.

Joaquín Mora Bertrán, Deputy General Manager of Golf, Beach Club and F&B at INFINITUM, said: “It is a pleasure to welcome the DP World Tour back to host Qualifying School Final Stage here for the sixth year in a row and we’re excited to get another thrilling week of golf underway.

“While our courses are designed to be accessible for novices and Major winners alike, make no mistake – under tournament conditions, they are a serious challenge even for seasoned professionals. Players will have to be at their best to earn a DP World Tour card. We can’t wait to see who rises to the challenge!”

Looking forward to next year, INFINITUM will play host to the ECCO Tour in February and March – staging three counting events across two weeks for Scandinavia’s premier professional golf tour.
