A Leap Day proposal: Traditions alive and well at Dublin Airport
Traditions were alive and well yesterday at Dublin Airport as a couple was spotted getting engaged.
The proposal, which was spotted on Departures Road at Dublin Airport, took place on Leap Day.
Sharing a sweet photograph of the couple, a spokesperson for Dublin Airport said: "As The Beatles once said... "Why don't we do it in the road?" A warm congrats to the lovely couple we spotted getting engaged today on Departures Road at Dublin Airport."
"The Lead Day tradition of women proposing to men on February 29 is clearly alive and well!," they added.
