Reigning All-Ireland SFC champions Dublin take on Galway at Croke Park for a place in the semi-finals.

The Tribesmen are aiming to end a 90-year wait to beat the Dubs in a championship game, their last one coming in the 1934 All-Ireland final.

Throw-in is at 6.15pm, and you can follow all the action here.

Shane Walsh makes no mistake from the resulting free to keep the Tribesmen within an earshot of the current All-Ireland champions.

The Cuala man is brandished with the yellow card but its a bit of a mystery how it has come about. It looked like a textbook tackle on Damien Comer but the full-forward is down with a head injury momentarily.

The towering figure of Johnny Heaney is thrust into the action by Padraic Joyce while Matthew Tierney is called ashore.

Despite the close attention of Sean Fitzgerald, Dublin's Con O'Callaghan bursts free and splits the uprights.

Dessie Farrell opts for a switch in his half-forward line.

Ciaran Kilkenny works the loop play with Brian Fenton who takes on the shot but it trails to the left and wide.

The Dublin forward eventually finds himself in yellow-card territory for persistent fouling, this time on Johnny McGrath.

A mighty score from John Small, who despite finding himself in unfamiliar territory, takes his mark and utilises the outside of his boot to drill over a point from a considerable distance.

Its the trifecta of Shane Walsh, Cillian McDaid, and Paul Conroy again as the latter clips over another score and raises his fist in joy.

Dublin also make an alteration of their own which is somewhat surprising as Paul Mannion has looked dangerous all afternoon.

Perhaps the heavily strapped knee of Robert Finnerty can go no more as Liam O'Conghaile enters the fray.

The gap is down to 2 points! Damien Comer fields the ball, slips it to Cillian McDaid making the support run and notches a superb score from 25 metres on the angle.

Sean Mulkerrin is alive to the danger once more as the wing-back intercepts Paul Mannion. Galway transition up the field where Damien Comer comes under pressure from Sean MacMahon who did brilliantly to unsettle the bustling full-forward.

A slight goal chance at the other end for Dublin but Sean Mulkerrin did brilliantly to block Con O'Callaghan's goal-bound effort. The ball trickles out for a '45 which Cormac Costello takes but fails to convert.

Stephen Cluxton's kickout comes under pressure as Damien Comer breaks the ball to Shane Walsh to score.

Galway's defence is scythed open by Jack McCaffrey and Sean Bugler. Further tame Galway defending allows Ciaran Kilkenny to steer the ball over and receives the cheers of the Hill 16 crowd.

At the opposite end, Paul Conroy attempts to clip the ball over Stephen Cluxton's bar but the midfielder can't raise the white flag.

James McCarthy pops up on the end of a Dublin move but the Ballymun Kickhams man is off target and notches up only their second wide of the afternoon.

Further joy for the Tribesmen as Shane Walsh has taken to the field and appears to be fine. The sun is shining in Croke Park as Dublin eye up the Hill 16 posts.

A dream start for Galway as Matthew Tierney wins the hop ball and feeds Cillian McDaid to steer between the uprights with precision.
