The first cup competition of the season got underway on Tuesday night and there have already been plenty of shocks.
League Two Gillingham knocked out Southampton, who were relegated from the Premier League last term, while fellow fourth tier side Salford City beat Championship Preston North End on penalties. The final six ties of the first round will be played on Wednesday night.
From the second round, Premier League teams who are not involved in European competition will enter the fray, including big beasts Chelsea and Tottenham. Here, Mirror Football rounds up all you need to know about the second round draw.
When is the Carabao Cup second round draw?The draw for the second round of the Carabao Cup will take place on Wednesday evening. It will follow Sky Sports' live coverage of Burton Albion's first round clash with Leicester City at the Pirelli Stadium.
The draw should begin at 10.15pm if the game is settled in normal time. All of the second round ties will take place in the week commencing 28 August.
How to watchSupporters will be able to watch the second-round draw on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football. It will also be streamed live on the official Sky Go app.
