Power cut hits scores of homes after high-voltage incident
Dozens of homes in Devon are without power following a high-voltage incident. The power cut was first reported soon after 11am this morning, Friday, December 6, in the PL16 postcode area, covering the village of Lifton.
National Grid reports that there are currently 155 properties without power with some 74 having had their electricity restored.
National Grid said: "We are aware of this power cut outage which was raised at 11:11am this morning and our engineers are working to get the power returned as quickly as possible. We are sorry for any inconvenience this is causing you.
"For safety reasons, we have had to isolate the supplies. We hope to have this restored soon."
