It's fair to say that Emmerdale's Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland) has endured a harrowing few weeks. Discovering partner Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) had cheated on her with ex-wife Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) would have been devastating enough, but, as regular viewers will no doubt know, things only escalated from there.
To recap, scorned Chloe attempted to take revenge on the pair by driving them into the middle of nowhere and ditching them, but her plan went horrifyingly awry after she crashed into another vehicle, with the collision sending her car dangling over the edge of the cliff. A distraught Mack quickly realised balancing the car just wouldn't be possible, and that he'd have to choose which of the women to save.
Ultimately, Mack decided to pull Charity from the car, leaving Chloe to topple over the cliff edge. Incredibly. Chloe managed to survive the terrifying incident and has since been discharged from hospital. Viewers suspect this won't be the end of the matter, however, as Chloe's heartbreak will no doubt take longer to heal than her physical wounds.
