There will be both heartbreak and triumph for an Irish EuroMillions player who was just one number short of winning Friday night’s €30,315,474 jackpot.
But the punter can console themselves with a life-changing prize of €695,068 after correctly picking all five numbers and one of the two lucky stars .
Another Irish player scooped a huge €500,000 in the EuroMillions draw after matching all five winning numbers. The wins come at a perfect time, just days before Christmas.
Other big prizes from the night include 10 players who won €5,000 each in the Raffle, 84 players who won €2,000 each in the EuroMillions plus by matching four numbers, and two players who won €1,446 each in the main draw by matching four numbers plus both lucky stars.

In total over 44,000 players in Ireland won prizes in Friday night’s draw.
The winning numbers for the main draw are 2, 13, 37, 3,8 48 and lucky stars 5 9.
The winning numbers for the Plus draw are 4, 6, 10, 12 and 20.

They have confirmed that the person that won €695,068 in the main draw bought their ticket online, while the winning €500,000 Plus ticket was sold in Kerry.
