Ireland and Brighton striker Evan Ferguson will miss Brighton's historic Europa League tie this evening amid reports that he is unwell.
The Bettystown native has been on fire this season with four goals in five matches for Brighton so far this season including a superb hat-trick against Newcastle earlier this month.
Ferguson was seen in a video post on Brighton's X page that was posted just after 6pm this evening. Footage from TNT Sports then showed the youngster leaving the pitch at The Amex Stadium a short time later.

The 18-year old suffered a knee injury earlier this month which ruled him out of Ireland's Euro 2024 qualifying fixtures against France and The Netherlands.
The reason for his absence from the Brighton squad tonight has not been officially confirmed.
Brighton face AEK Athens in their first ever European fixture this evening.
